Come & Vibe with Us!

This club is an opportunity to reunite anyone interesting in learning about traditional and contemporary Afro and Dancehall moves. It is an artistic and cultural way of unionising individuals of all ages, background or dancing styles.

Our goal is to spread positive vibes and make meaningful connections through dancing. This implies to learn how to use vocal and physical interaction to encourage dancers while performing the routine, freestyling or battling. It is a sharing and learning experience so anyone can have the opportunity to share and teach something they know, not only about dance but also about the meaning of dancing, the artistic, social, cultural or political aspect of the dance moves. It is the opportunity to build dancing teams and create programs for stage performances, dancing competitions, battles or acting (short movie scenario creation).

Social Media

Each session will be filmed and will appear on the Club’s official website and other social media platform (Instagram). If in anycase a dancer is not feeling comfortable being exposed on social media it is perfectly fine, the filming and editing team will make sure that his videos does not appear on any platform.

Class Structure

Each sessions will represent a 2 hours class where a one minute dance routine will be proposed with moves taken from Afro, dancehall and hip-hop. At the end everyone will have the opportunity to reproduce the routine (individually or in groups), in a freestyle or a friendly battle. The dancers teaching can rotate ( which means that it can be anyone willing to take the challenge) but his routine should contain a minimum of 2 to 3 dancehall/Afro moves (but moves from other styles can be added as well). It is all members responsibility to help the club grow in adding their knowledge, experience and creativity.
